Happy Holidays, everyone!  Hope you take the time to stop and do something silly this month.

milkshake sitting in the bottom right corner.

For her birthday, my lady asked for a country drive out to a peach orchard.  We ate apple doughnuts and had a peach shake.  We brought back fresh cherries and peaches.  My sky box worked great and I love being able to see out the window.  Yes, driving 100 miles for a milkshake is a great way to pass a day.  If you find yourself in central Virginia, swing by Chiles Peach Orchard.

Our LADY had a princess party on Friday.  Her friends came over and they all ate lady food and drank lady drinks and they watched the Royal Wedding together. Everyone got to wear a tiara.  Unfortunately...including us, too.  There's more pictures here http://theprincessparty.weebly.com/

While I don't especially like wearing hats, I really enjoyed this event.  Sometimes I'm nervous in crowds, but I had a lot of fun today.  We keep trying new things, going to new places and it has helped me be outgoing when meeting new people and pets.

This is a picture of everyone at the Easter Parade.  Sophie couldn't go because it was 90 degrees and she can't handle the heat or prolonged walking.  Our town's Easter parade is just people wearing Easter clothes and "parading" down the street.   It is a fun time for people and pets.  Also, my foster Mom from HART sent Sophie and I a nice Easter card.  Thanks Kim!

I made a new friend.

eyeballs were surgically removed from my frog's head...for safety.

The following is a partial list of things I've attempted to eat:

  • coffee grounds
  • dried leaves
  • curious looking cricket
  • whole black pepper corns (who leaves that on the floor?  I mean really!)
  • a sticker on a placemat
  • Deeroff brand deer repellent [rotten eggs and hot red pepper are its main ingredients]
  • mud puddle with a motor oil slick
  • the plastic eyeball on my stuffed animal frog
  • dryer lint

Don't worry, my LADY stopped me from eating these things.  Exploring the world though my mouth can be untastey sometimes.  It's dangerous other times, too.

Tastes like cold.

...this time change thing is a bunch of hooey.  I had to wait an extra hour before my people decided to start the day.  And now is the worst part.  My breakfast arrives an hour later, too.  This stinks.  The citizens of the great states of Hawaii and Arizona sure are smart.  They leave their breakfast time ALONE!!!
